Welcome to Frivia International. Below are answers to the most common questions from our global clients regarding our sports equipment and apparel manufacturing services.

General Questions

Q1: What exactly does Frivia International do?
A: Frivia International is a manufacturer and exporter specializing in two main categories: Hard Goods (Basketballs, American Footballs, Baseballs, Soccer balls) and Soft Goods (Street Wear and Fitness Wear). We produce goods for other brands (OEM/ODM) and also offer white-label solutions.

Q2: Where are your manufacturing facilities located?
A: Our primary manufacturing units are located in [Insert City/Country, e.g., Gujarat/Sialkot/Dongguan], equipped with advanced machinery for both leather stitching and textile production. Our export office manages logistics to ship worldwide.

Q3: Can you ship to my country?
A: Yes. As an export-focused company, we handle logistics to destinations across North America, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and Asia. Please contact us with your specific country, and we will provide a shipping solution.

Product & Customization (OEM/ODM)

Q4: What is the difference between OEM and ODM?
A:

  • OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing): You provide the designs or samples, and we manufacture exactly to your specifications.
  • ODM (Original Design Manufacturing): We use our design expertise to create products for you based on your ideas or market trends. You can choose from our existing base models and modify colors, materials, or logos.

Q5: What are the minimum order quantities (MOQs)?
A: Our MOQs vary by product category:

  • Sports Balls (Custom design): Typically 500 pieces per design.
  • Sports Balls (Stock/White Label): As low as 100 pieces.
  • Apparel (Custom cut & sew): Typically 300-500 pieces per design per color.
  • Apparel (Printing on blank stock): As low as 50 pieces.
Please note: We do accommodate smaller trial orders for new partners—please inquire directly.

Q6: Can you replicate my existing logo and colors exactly?
A: Absolutely. We use Pantone Matching System (PMS) for colors and offer various logo application methods including screen printing, sublimation (for apparel), pad printing (for balls), and embroidery (for caps and hoodies). We recommend sending a high-resolution vector file (AI, EPS, or PDF) for the best results.

Q7: Can you create a completely new mold for a basketball or football design?
A: Yes. For clients looking for a unique product, we offer custom mold development. This process involves an initial mold setup fee, after which you own the exclusive rights to that specific mold pattern.

Quality Assurance

Q8: How do you ensure the quality of the sports balls?
A: We adhere to strict international quality standards. Our quality control process includes:

  • Material Inspection: Testing leather/rubber compounds before production.
  • In-Process Inspection: Checking stitching and panel alignment during production.
  • Final Testing: Bounce tests, air retention tests (for bladders), and weight verification for every batch.

Q9: What materials are used in the fitness and streetwear?
A: We prioritize performance and comfort. Our fitness wear typically uses high-performance polyester, Nylon, and Spandex blends for moisture-wicking and 4-way stretch. Our streetwear utilizes combed cotton, fleece, and poly-cotton blends for durability and style.

Q10: Are Frivia products compliant with safety standards?
A: Yes. We ensure our products meet the necessary safety regulations for your target market, including lead-free paints, non-toxic materials, and compliance with general merchandise safety rules in the US and EU.

Sampling

Q11: Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?
A: Yes, we highly encourage sampling. We offer two types of samples:

  1. Stock Samples: Existing designs for you to assess quality (cost of sample + shipping applies, often refundable upon bulk order).
  2. Custom Pre-Production Samples: Made to your exact specifications before mass production (a sample development fee applies).

Q12: How long does it take to make a sample?
A: Stock samples can be shipped within 2-3 days of order. Custom samples typically take 10-15 days to develop and ship, depending on the complexity of the design.

Orders & Logistics

Q13: What is the typical production lead time?
A: Once the sample is approved and the deposit is paid, production generally takes:

  • Sports Balls: 25-35 days.
  • Apparel: 30-40 days.
(Shipping time is additional and depends on your location).

Q14: What are your payment terms?
